I get a lot of people telling me they're worried as they can't charge what they want to because another salon charges less. So what! Some people like Lidl and some like Waitrose. Just be the best at what you do and charge for it...........plenty of people will pay for quality.
If you're good at what you do, you don't need to pay for expensive ads or spend half your life getting aggravated by what people are saying on forums or Facebook; half of it's made up anyway.
Have a little think about the service you offer and be honest with yourself. If people aren't re-booking then you need to practice and up your game. Once you feel confident in your ability, that will shine through and your clients will feel confident in you.
It doesn't matter where you work from as long as it's clean and you're brilliant, then word will spread and they'll keep coming back.
So my tip for your business (and your sanity) is to totally ignore what other salons are doing, saying, charging, claiming and just be the best you possible.
With love,
