Clean eating and waxing


I’ve noticed over recent months, the increase of clients with thin skin. If the skin is thin it can lift and tear.

So I started to ask the question ‘Are you clean eating or following a strict diet?’ and sure enough, the answer was ‘Yes’ every time. High protein diets can do this too.

With these clients, always use hot wax on the thin or fleshy areas, and apply narrower strips of hot wax. 

Apply oil to the skin under the wax and support the skin when you remove, but don’t stretch it as much as you would usually or it may split. OUCH!
