Is weather affecting your wax?

Umbrella

Ok, so we all hate those strings that we get from our hot wax, especially on cold days like this, when the heating is on full blast but there's still a cold chill in the room.

Wax heaters generally just heat from the bottom or the sides, so the wax in the middle will always be cooler, causing the strings. Not only that but you'll find that you use more wax.

So, don't focus too much on the temperature of your wax pot, get to know what your product well, so that you'll know at a glance if it's at the perfect temperature for your clients and to get the best hair removal. So, if that means turning it up a couple of notches on a cold day then go for it.
