Most UK salons and clients don't actually know what a true Brazilian wax is and over time variations of a Brazilian have been given different names.
I believe that you shouldn't be put in the embarrassing situation of talking body parts and cost with your waxer and that you should know exactly what you're getting for your money.
To make things a little easier for you to understand and to help you know the difference between a G String and a Brazilian, here's a detailed break down.
The BRAZILIAN - With or without a landing strip. Also known as the Hollywood.
Completely bare! A thorough wax that removes every single hair from the back, front, inside and outside. You can leave a landing strip at the top if that's your thing but most don't. It includes the butt crack, any noticable hair on the buttocks, the inner and outer labia, pubic triangle, hair growing from the butt cheeks onto the back of the upper thigh and buttocks. Everything gone!!!!!!
The G STRING
This leaves a strip of hair that starts on the pubic mound and down over the labia and tapers in narrow as it reaches the butt cheeks. It includes the butt crack and any noticable hair on the buttocks, You should be able to wear a Thong knicker with no pubic hair showing outside.
The BASIC INSTINCT
A quick, gentle wax in the crease of leg. Removes all visable pubic hair outside of the knickers at the front only. You should be able to wear a Bikini Knicker with no pubic hair showing outside.
The HIGH TIDE
Hair is removed from the two side panels going in narrow at the bottom, the top of pubic line is perfected & underneath just onto the butt cheeks are removed. You should be able to wear a High Leg knicker with no pubic hair showing outside.
The IBIZA
Butt crack only. Feels amazing and so feminine!
